Alabama is a state located in the south-eastern portion of the United States of America. On its borders are the states of Tennessee, Georgia, Florida, Mississippi as well as the Gulf of Mexico to the south. Alabama is one of the smaller states and ranks 30th in total land area while ranking 23 in population. Even for its size, it ranks second in inland waterways total area. |
